If you could change anything for your family right now, what would it be?
Access to a good doctor. I have a swollen hand and my parents can’t afford to send me for an appointment. We don’t only have to pay for an appointment but also for a taxi into town, because the bus doesn't come to our neighborhood.  We often wait for the Red Cross to arrive for help, but they are only here for vaccinations a few times a year.

How has your life changed while learning with Fundación Mariposas Amarillas?
I’m lucky to have the teachers looking out for me. A teacher noticed my swollen hand and organized a consultation with a doctor for me when the Red Cross arrived.

If you could change anything in your neighborhood, what would it be?
We all need new clothes. I only have two pairs at the moment and they get dirty when I play at school. I don’t have shoes and the streets aren’t paved, so I’m often cutting the bottom of my feet on the ground.
